Art Deco French Silver Plated Bronze Motoring Plaque Signed H Demey
A rare French Art Deco motoring bronze plaque given at the Rallye Paris-Evian 1933 and signed to the lower left corner H Demey, a renowned designer of sporting plaques and medals. This plaque is finely engraved and has an iconic art deco motor car design depicting speed, with a nude female lying on top of the car clutching the steering wheel. It measures 9.5cm x 4.5cm. Presented in 1933.
